| Sarah Fisher Conover Sarah Fisher was born near Tremont, in Tazewell county, Illinois, December 17, 1833. Entered Walnut Grove Academy in its third year, September, 1850, and attended its sessions three years. Taught one year in the preparatory department. Was married October 3, 1854, to Dr. R. A. Conover. Is still living at her home in Peculiar, Cass county, Missouri, where she settled on removing to that State in 1868, loved by all who know her.
